GTI 5th FOUNDATION TRAINING FOR UNIVERSITY TEACHERS
Training Period: May 10-July 2, 2009
Experiences of participants of GTI 5th FTUT!
At the half way of this 55 days long traing period, the participants got many kinds of good or even bad experiences and some of these experiences will be shared on this part. Many of the experiences are related to our course co-ordinators, who tried to give their best to make our training fruitful.

GTI Foundation Training is a great opportunity for the university teachers to develop their knowledge and skills in their teaching profession and research. I think, all university teachers mainly the juniors should attend in this training program. I would like to thank UGC and all the co-ordinators and teachers of GTI and BAU for such a great program. I would like to express my gratitude to UGC to arrange such kind of foundation training and also to GTI for their outstanding training module. But in my view if the contents of training module can change (i.e, reduce the 1st module's theoritical topics and include some teachers related practical topics such as more time in IT, writing project report or scientific report), the training will be more attactive and more beneficial for trainees. All trainees are very friendly.

The Foundation course for public university teachers organized by GTI, BAU (Graduate Training Institute, Bangladesh Agricultural University) funded by UGC (University Grants Commission) for two months is very much effective for fresh (newly born) university teachers like me. From this training course I got benefited which will show a new horizon in my coming days in teaching profession. I am grateful to all of the teachers of GTI and UGC authority for such kind of arrangement. Thanks all.

Foundation Training for University Teachers (FTUT) arranged by Graduate Training Institute, BAU is a very important training for young teachers to meet the upcoming challenges in our professional carrer. All the modules of this training is well designed, and quite updated. I am grateful to all the teachers who designed this programs of the training and wish they can continue for years to come.
